Assistant Project & Logistics Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with managing a wide range of construction project tasks from start to finish
  • Ensure all construction specifications & schedules are met with help of the project manager
  • Logistics support (inland, air & ocean freight) & assist in other depts. like shipping, Q & A, sales & engineering.
  • Coordinate & follows up on assignments within a multi-disciplined team of professionals
  • Possess an analytical mind and enjoy a challenge
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment & maintain attention to detail.
  • Participate in internal coordination meetings, in person & online
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; highly detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Manages the daily activity of scheduling, shipping, receiving, tracking of inventory and ensuring that all products are delivered on time 
  • Knowledge of truck legal requirements and general truck load plane preferred
  • Assists in organizing inventory around the warehouse
  • A go-getter with ability to handle multiple priorities and projects effectively with little supervision.
  • Ability to nurture positive relationships within a team environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & proven customer service skills

Background in construction, manufacturing or fabrication 

Experience in fast-paced administrative or project management environment

Experience with freight & inventory a plus

Roofing/Metal Roofing industry experience is a major plus

Able to evaluate progress & prepare detailed reports

Able to prepare and respond to RFIs and submittals 

Able to track materials, shipments & fabricated items

Able to handle a high volume of correspondence

Senior Project Manager

  • Responsible for completing project submittals, initiate and reply to RFI’s and observation reports
  • Accountable for overseeing the initiation, planning, execution & monitoring of project life cycles
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
  • Provide assistance with budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers & issuing purchase orders
  • Experience within a specialty contracting or specialty manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope & on budget
  • Other duties as required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ yrs proven experience in lead or Sr. project mgmt
  • Strict attention to detail & strong follow through
  • High level of accuracy & strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lead change, prioritize & work under pressure

A global structural metal roof and wall manufacturer is looking for an Architectural Metal Specialist to maintain an existing network of metal roof and wall subcontractors as well as develop new subcontractors who will extend their visibility into the market. This position is responsible for developing architectural projects and specifications through architectural promotion as well as managing, supporting and expanding a commissioned representative network. Candidates will have at least ten years’ experience in the promotion and sale of architectural metal roof and wall assemblies to both architects and subcontractors. Salary, commission and benefits are above industry norm and commensurate with experience. Headquarters located in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Senior Engineering & Technical Director

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Metal roof assembly design and review capability for technical integrity, durability & resource efficiency
  • Sales staff support and liaison as needed with customers, architects, engineers etc.
  • Responsible for testing & audit programs, coordination of field & factory visits & record keeping (UL, FM)
  • Supervision of teams including drafters, project managers, engineers etc.; AutoCAD experience required
  • R&D development and design of new products and improvements to existing product lines
  • Light gauge sheet metal experience essential; experience with other metals a plus
  • Analyze project requirements & apply architectural as well as functional specifications
  • Building wind and snow load calculations utilizing industry software and technology
