The Mesa Gateway Library project is officially complete, and its doors are now open to the community. The custom tapered standing seam metal roof features 22-gauge steel panels up to 196 feet in length, tapered from 188mm to 352mm, spanning more than 25,000 square feet. Designed to follow the building’s unique geometry, the roof delivers both long-term performance and a striking architectural presence.
Complementing the roof, over 13,000 square feet of 18-gauge Cor-Ten A606 mill finish steel wall panels enhance the façade. As the material continues to develop its rich natural patina in the Arizona climate, the wall system adds warmth, depth, and character to the overall design. Together, the roofing and wall panel scope create a cohesive metal envelope that brings the architect’s vision to life while serving the Mesa community for years to come.
