Bemo USA Corporation (Mesa, AZ) seeks Senior Engineer responsible for the design, budget, planning and execution of large-scale construction projects, to include metal wall and roof assembly design and review capability for technical and specification compliance, structural integrity, code compliance, and resource and environmental efficiency for standard product lines and project-specific custom systems. Conduct cold-formed steel structural engineering calculations to comply with AISI S100 requirements. Analyze project requirements to ensure applicable and engineering functional specifications. Determine live and dead design loads engineering calculations to include, but not limited to, wind, snow, live and dead loads, strength and stiffness of building enclosure components, to comply with applicable building codes. Provide technical support to sales staff, customers, and architects. Responsible for testing, audit and quality control and quality assurance programs and specifications. Coordinate field and factory visits and project record-keeping. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino Grasshopper, and similar programs, both in-house and in coordination with third parties for project design, fabrication, and execution. Participate in R&D, the design of new products, and improvements to existing product lines, utilizing accepted engineering principles. Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings and deliverables prepared by internal design department to ensure scope adherence to specifications and constructability. Review of shop drawings against project specifications and applicable codes. Provide feedback and advise on drafting as to structural information. Assist sales staff in presentations to clients. Prepare reports on work progress, costs/budget, and scheduling. Submit engineering design work to registered Professional Engineers/Structural Engineers for stamping/sealing of calculations and drawings before submission to clients.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the building envelope/cladding/roofing industry, specifically experience in the design, engineering, construction and project management of façade building enclosure systems and metal roofing systems. Requires knowledge and understanding of various building enclosure systems, materials, and products, and knowledge of applicable building codes. Email resumes to jessicab@bemousa.com
